Starting with Snowdonia National Park in the North with it’s 14 mountains and a funicular to access the highest, down through the Legends of King Arthur who they insist was Welsh, along 1,479 miles of trails by foot, hoof or bike to the Brecon Beacons and the Black Mountains in the South and on to Cardiff Castle, one of 400 in Wales, there is much to see and do in Wales.

There are three bridges in one at Devil’s Bridge Falls, with a wonderful legend, more than 10 heritage Railway lines reach some of the country’s most popular landmarks, including mountains, seaside towns, and castles. To the West, Caernarfon Castle dating to the 13th Century, built by King Edward I and the best-preserved-medieval fortress in Europe, in 1969, the scene of Prince Charles’s investiture as Prince of Wales.

There Is too much to mention, but finally, for something different, there is the World’s fastest Zip line, which also just so happens to be the longest in Europe at Penrhyn Slate Quarry with quarry tours and quarry bikes as well.
